• Trading and journal data you input or import, including symbols, dates, prices, fees, and PnL values.
• Tax settings you configure, such as filing status, state, and rate preferences.
• Subscription and billing metadata from Stripe (for example customer and subscription identifiers).
• Operational logs required for reliability, security, and fraud prevention.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve BlueTaxLedger features.
• Calculate analytics and estimated tax outputs you request.
• Process subscriptions and account lifecycle events.
• Protect against abuse, unauthorized access, and service misuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Payments and Third Parties

Billing is processed by Stripe. BlueTaxLedger does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe may collect and process payment data under its own privacy terms. When you use AI features, prompts and relevant app data may be sent to the selected AI provider to generate responses.

5. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you delete your account, we will process deletion requests in accordance with our system design and applicable law.

6. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. You may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing. To submit a privacy request, email andyno30@gmail.com from your account email and include the request type (access, correction, deletion, or restriction). We may request verification details before processing.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
